European Conference on PQC Migration

Peter Pessl

Infineon Technologies
Security Architect

Peter Pessl is a security architect at Infineon Technologies, where he develops concepts for hardened implementations of quantum-secure cryptography. Most recently, he was involved in the development of the first CC-certified ML-KEM and ML-DSA implementation for security controllers.

Before joining Infineon, he obtained his PhD and worked as a Postdoc at Graz University of Technology, where his research focused on analyzing implementation-security aspects of lattice-based cryptography, e.g., ML-KEM, ML-DSA, and their respective predecessors.
He continues to conduct research in this direction and is an active member of the academic implementation-security community.
