Senior Principal Security Evaluator
Miquel Piris is a security evaluator with over 10 years of experience working in security evaluation laboratories. At Brightsight, he manages a security evaluation team composed of experts in hardware and software security, side channel and fault injection attacks, and Common Criteria evaluators.
He also serves as the Technical Domain Coordinator for Integrated Circuits (IC) security evaluations at Brightsight, where he leads security assessments of secure elements, system-on-chips (SoCs), and cryptographic IPs used in several markets. As a Lead Evaluator in Common Criteria and EMVCo evaluations, his expertise includes vulnerability analysis, security test plan design, and detailed hardware security reviews for high-assurance products.
Miquel represents Brightsight in international security working groups, including JHAS and ISCI, where he contributes to shaping industry standards and best practices.
