Senior Technical Advisor for Cryptographic Security
Jonathan Hammell is the Senior Technical Advisor for Cryptographic Security at the Canadian Centre for Cyber Security, part of the Communications Security Establishment (CSE) within the Government of Canada. Jonathan is the Cyber Centre’s lead for cryptographic standards, participating in various international standards development organizations. Jonathan was involved in the creation of the Government of Canada’s roadmap for the migration to post-quantum cryptography. As a subject matter expert in cryptography, Jonathan provides advice and guidance on cryptographic security within the Government of Canada and to industry partners.
