Henri Gilbert

Distinguished Expert in Cryptography
Henri Gilbert has been the head of the Cryptography Laboratory at the French Cybersecurity Agency (ANSSI) between 2010 and 2025 and serves now as a senior expert in cryptology in this team. His research interests are mostly focused around the design and cryptanalysis of symmetric algorithms and he has (co-)authored numerous publications and patents in this area. He has chaired the SOG-IS Crypto working group in charge of specifying a cryptography evaluation scheme for the Common Criteria certification of security products in Europe between 2014 and 2024.
